Did You know?

July 30, 2016 By Manish Mittal Leave a Comment

Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, Lenovo, hTc these are some of the giants leading in the field of smartphones. We very well know all the technology & features they can offer in their devices, Retina display, Super Amoled screen, 4K camcorder, etc etc. But is it really true or is it something we believe ? That’s a big question mark. How many of you know the most expensive phone ever made ? Was it even a smartphone or not? What made it so special? Which company made it? Is it Apple or Google or Samsung or maybe Microsoft, Huh! No need to google it … Because today we are going to look over some of the amazing mobile world facts which you might not have even heard of.

So lets get started …

#1   The Most Expensive Phone In 2016

Falcon Supernova Iphone 6

Falcon SuperNova Pink Diamond Iphone 6 – $95.5 million (INR 642,81,05,000)
Yup! you read it right, approx. six hundred forty two crores only. What makes this so special, well it’s the pink diamond embedded at its back and nothing more. No special hardware or software technology, just a pink (for me) stone.

#2    First Mobile Phone Ever Made

First Mobile Phone

The first commercial mobile, Motorola DynaTAC 8000X, was made in 1973, measuring 13 x 1.75 x 3.5 inches and weighing 28 ounces (approx 1.1 kg). The 8000X was so big and heavy, even its creators had nicknamed it “The Brick.” But not only that, it cost around $9000 at that time and battery life was no longer than half an hour. Fortune!

#3   Most Selling Phone In The World

Nokia 1100

Have you ever used Nokia 1100? Be proud, it was the bestselling electrical gadget in history with more than 250 million pieces sold.

#4   Smart Smartphones

AGC Interface

Today’s cellphones has more computing power than the Apollo Guidance Computer(AGC), the computer used to safely land Apollo 11 on the moon.
