With the a new mobile technology emerging every quarter, it has become extremely difficult to decide what you need and what you should buy and that too in your limited budget. You can’t decide what is essential for your device, what you need the most and where you can compromise. Even if you settle at a certain phone, the next challenge which comes up is which variant will be best suited for you; would it be the 2 GB RAM with 64 GB internal memory or a 3 GB RAM with less storage. But as they always say “If you search hard then you could even find God”. So today we present a few hardware-oriented things which certainly will help you judge what is good for your smartphone.
- Processor :
The heart of your mobile phone is one thing which you need to focus on most while buying a new smartphone. Octa-cores , hexa-cores , quad-cores processors, these all represent that how efficiently your device will handle multiple-tasks. Increasing number of cores improves the ability to handle multiple tasks without any interference between them while higher clock speeds ensures that heavier tasks are handled smoothly.
2. RAM :
The higher, the better. RAM allows you to load programs and data from your internal memory for a faster access by the Processor. More the amount of data you could load into your RAM, more will be the speed of executing upon that data.
3. Display :
It’s a well known fact that LED (or AMOLED) displays are more vibrant and live than the corresponding LCD display devices. Every one wants a better resolution, more pixels equals higher picture quality but that’s only one side of the coin. As the pixel density of your device increases, it increases the energy demand from your device and this leads to faster exhaustion of your battery.
4. Camera :
The megapixels (MP) of a camera phone refer to its image output or how large an image can be resized without having to sacrifice its quality. Photographs that are taken on phones with low megapixels tend to pixelate, or break up in small blocks, when they are blown up to a size that they cannot handle. So a higher megapixel camera does not necessarily guarantee a higher image quality. The other factor which affect is the camera Sensors. The camera phone image sensor is responsible for capturing light, analysing it, and converting it to electronic signals. Phones having larger size of sensors tend to capture more light and provide better quality output in low-lit areas.
5. Storage :
It’s a personal preference that how much storage you need. But if you use a lot of applications in your device then you will definitely need more internal storage. That being said, if you don’t use much of applications but use your device to store a lot of data, then an expandable storage slot via memory card will save you money.
6. Battery :
Everyone loves a larger battery-life which will pass the day without any hassle or heating issues.
