With the pace of technological advancement, it’s almost every day that a new feature or application is discovered for the “SMART PHONE”. Once was a time, when a device having a facility to send messages was a novelty. But now-a-days you can’t even keep the count of what you can do with your phone. So we present a couple of features of smart phones, which are unique and may be you even haven’t heard of them.
1. Project a map on the windscreen of your car!
If you are driving in dark, or foggy or unfamiliar conditions, then download the HUDWAY app, enter your destination in it and keep it on the dashboard of your car. Your mobile will become a sub-standard projector and project a GPS enabled map on the windshield of your car without the need of any additional equipments.
2. Reverse search images and photographs
Almost every day we come across a new thing but we don’t know its name. Don’t stress your brains anymore and just download the Google GOGGLES app. This app lets you search paintings, product information and even about historic places just by analysing the picture clicked by your phone’s camera.
3. Custom Vibration Patterns
In today’s busy life, no one likes to be disturbed by calls ring and almost 72.6% people keep their phone on silent. So custom ringtones for your contacts doesn’t help much. Fortunately, now you can set custom vibration patterns for your contacts. Just go to Contacts and tap on contact name and under vibrate pattern either choose a custom pattern or create a new one yourself. If your phone doesn’t support such a facility then you can download third-party apps like VYBE.
4. Identifying Songs on the go
Most of you may already know that you can get apps like Shazam or SoundHound for your smartphone, which can be used to identify a song while it’s playing.
But did you know that Google, Apple and Microsoft have also created their own song identification tools? They’re built right into their respective virtual assistants, so you can just ask Google Now or Siri what’s playing or tap the Music Search icon inside Cortana.
