Prisma Labs officially launched the Android version of it’s “Make-Your-Photo-Artlike” app named Prisma. The app is popular among the selfie crazy and Instagram loving generation of ours. It shot to fame among iPhone users for it’s unique artsy filters that convert your normal pictures to a piece of art. until recently it was just limited to iOS users and Android using majority was trying different ways to get their hands on the app. Prisma Labs also launched a beta version for Android which it discontinued as fast as it was launched but it did not wait further to avoid missing the chance of riding it’s own popularity and publicly launched the app on Google’s Play Store for everyone to download and install.
If you have no idea what I am talking about and have been living under a rock then let me give a brief description of the app. For those of you who are familiar to the app and were eagerly waiting for it’s Android release go to the bottom of the post for the link to Play Store.
The app is almost like Instagram sans the Social Networking element, it just converts your Gallery pictures( you can click pictures within the app also) to art! by the use of one of more than 30 filters it currently offers.
As is obvious from the above images, you can convert any of your pictures into art in just four easy steps
- Click a Picture or use from your Gallery
- Try and choose one filter from the 30+ filters available
- After creation of artwork, Swipe left or right to choose the degree of filter application
- Share it on Instagram , Facebook or anywhere you like using the share buttons.
This is all the app is about! Want to try it yourself? Just click the link given below and download the app from Play Store
